Who Can Use Our Service

Anyone who has difficulty traveling independently due to illness, injury, aging, or disability is welcome to use our service. A disability certificate is not required.

Important Notes Before Use

For safety reasons, please inform us in advance of the wheelchair width in millimeters. If you will be carrying a large amount of luggage, please consult with us beforehand, as space is limited.

Wheelchair Capacity and Passenger Numbers

The number of accompanying passengers depends on the size and number of wheelchairs.

■ One Standard Wheelchair (Width up to 700 mm)

1 wheelchair + up to 5 accompanying passengers
Please note that the three-seat third row may feel slightly cramped.

■ Two Wheelchairs

Combination 1
・One wheelchair up to 700 mm wide

・One wheelchair up to 550 mm wide
→ 2 wheelchairs + up to 3 accompanying passengers

Combination 2
・Two wheelchairs between 551 mm and 700 mm wide
→ 2 wheelchairs + up to 2 accompanying passengers

Luggage Space

When two wheelchairs are on board, or when there are four or more accompanying passengers, interior space becomes very limited.
In such cases, large luggage such as suitcases may not be accommodated inside the vehicle.

About Me
― PROFILE ―
長谷川 翠

Hello, my name is Midori Hasegawa. I am the driver and owner of Wheels Up⁺, a wheelchair-accessible taxi service based in Nagoya, Japan.

Before starting Wheels Up⁺, I worked for 18 years as a cabin crew member with both Japanese and international airlines, where my role was to provide safety, comfort, and peace of mind to passengers.

I am also a parent of a child who uses a wheelchair, so I truly understand how stressful and complicated transportation can be for people with mobility needs and their families.

Wheels Up⁺ was created from both my professional experience and my personal life. My goal is simple: to offer safe, reliable, and kind transportation where you can ask questions easily and feel confident you are in good hands.

If you have any concerns about getting around in Nagoya, no matter how small, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to supporting you and your family.

Service Area

We mainly serve Nishi Ward, Nagoya City, as well as nearby cities and municipalities.
